I am a Black, Fat, Oldish, Disabled, Female—Sista–Poet using Poetry, Stories & Faith to inspire Black Joy, Intersectional Healing & Diet Culture Recovery!

I’m also a child of God, a daughter, niece, sister, cousin, wife, mother, Sista-friend, author, coach and a creative. Writing poetry, Singing with Slim (my husband, Alvin), Creating Vision & Dream Boards, playing my Flute, and Knitting are my favorite ways to create!

I love spending time with my family (including my two dogs), worshipping and being in community with my church fam, and hanging out with my close Sista-friends.
